Browse through your saved paintings in a beautiful, yet functional, gallery. Watch the Canvas Playback video of each of your paintings right in their frame, give them a catchy title, or quickly swipe through all of them by thumbnail.

Start Something New

Start a new painting by choosing a canvas size from one of 3 preset shapes, or any custom width and height, from the New Canvas menu. Once you choose a size, you can import an image onto the new canvas from a variety of different sources like your Photos or iCloud Drive. Imported images can then be positioned, rotated, and scaled onto the new canvas.

Ultra Fast Rendering

While most other painting apps struggle to keep up with even a sluggish 30 frames per second, Inspire Pro's Sorcery™ engine renders brush strokes up to a mind‑blowing 120 FPS and then asks for more.

Dual Texture Brushes

Thanks to the awesome technology behind Sorcery™ and the power of iPad GPUs, Inspire Pro can render two brush textures at 1024 x 1024 resolution each, simultaneously and dynamically. During a brush stroke, "shape" and "surface" textures are combined on the fly to produce incredibly realistic marks on the canvas for mediums like chalk, charcoal, and pastels.

Brush Selection

An astounding 150 high-quality brushes await you and they are divided into 15 useful sets: Oil Paint, Airbrushes, Spray Paint, Paint Splatter, Graphite Pencils, Wax Crayons, Markers, Chalk, Charcoal, Pastels & Conté, Patterns, Textures, Basic Shapes, Complex Shapes, and Shape Outlines. All brushes can be used as a wet brush, dry brush (blending), or eraser.

Brush Size and Rotation

The size and rotation of each individual brush can be visually adjusted with pin-point accuracy using the large preview of the Brush menu. Inspire Pro automatically saves the selected size and rotation for each type of brush and brush mode independently, allowing you to pick up right where you left off after selecting a new brush, quickly and easily.

Deep Brush Stroke Customization

Customize brush strokes to the finest detail from the Stroke menu, with over 20 different settings across many categories. Whether you are setting the pressure effect, paint blending mode, scatter percentage, or the amount of taper a brush stroke is applied with, Inspire Pro gives you full control of how brush strokes will look and feel on the canvas.

Apple Pencil

Brush strokes react instantly to the applied pressure, tilt angle, and orientation of Apple Pencil, giving you unprecedented creative control on a mobile device. Double-tap the 2nd generation Apple Pencil to quickly perform many different actions like toggling the dry brush, opening the Brush menu, or invoking the eyedropper, all configurable from the Settings.

For your next drawing or sketch, give one of the Graphite Pencils a try with Apple Pencil and you'll quickly forget that you're not using an actual pencil and paper.

Canvas Playback

Marvel at how your paintings blossom, stroke-by-stroke, with Canvas Playback. Each brush stroke is recorded automatically while you paint, without any loss of speed. You can watch the video of your artwork in the gallery or export it at high-quality to your Photos. Mesmerize your family, friends, and the world with your Inspire Pro skills and Canvas Playback.

Pick a Color, Any Color

Choose any color you can dream of with ease using the intuitive Color menu. HSB and RGB sliders accompany a large color circle and square to help you explore and adjust colors to precisely find the perfect one. Your latest colors are saved automatically for you in a palette while you paint and you can also manually save your favorite colors to another palette with drag and drop.

Quick Change

Adjust the size and opacity of the current brush using Quick Change, a fast and easy way to change common brush settings without having to open a menu. A simple touch and slide to the left or right from the top of the screen instantly hides all of the hotpsots around the edges and shows you a large preview of your brush, so you can focus on getting it just right in a matter of seconds.

Settings Galore

Customize Inspire Pro from the Settings menu to match the painting style and workflow that suits you best. Hide the hotspots around the edge of the screen once you get comfortable. Choose how long to touch and hold to invoke the eyedropper. Adjust the applied pressure curve to fine-tune painting and drawing with Apple Pencil.
